The program’s dynamic design limits Fellows’ time spent away from work, while maximizing opportunities for reflection and on‐the‐job application of concepts and skills.
Applications are now being accepted for the second class of Massachusetts Health Leadership College Fellows. The program begins in January 2010 and all classes take place in Burlington, MA. For more information or to apply, please contact Kirsten Singleton, MHA Education Director, at 781-262-6053 or ksingleton@mhalink.org.
Some of the goals and benefits of the Massachusetts Health Leadership College Fellowship curriculum include:
• A more experienced, passionate, and connected leadership
team. Leaders safely share best practices and develop collaborative
relationships with industry executives from public, private, urban and
rural organizations.
• A deeper succession pool. Leaders learn how to plan and
develop their successors and facilitate the growth and development of
their teams to ensure the sustainability and growth of their
organizations.
• Improved productivity and reduced turnover. Leaders
increase their influence and impact throughout the organization,
resulting in more engaged employees with better energy and morale.
• More focused strategy development with better alignment.
Leaders learn to focus on the right things and clearly articulate their
vision and values to improve business performance.
• Measurable and sustainable behavior change. Expert
faculty/executive coaches guide your leaders to new levels of self
awareness, enabling them to lead confidently from a center of
values.
• Leading edge knowledge and practical skills. Leaders'
current beliefs and practices are challenged, driving them to broaden
their perspectives and try new tools and techniques.
Across‐industry networking. Participants build a lifelong network

their perspectives, validating their approaches, and providing support
and encouragement.
