Among its many functions, the DPH has oversight of hospital licensure, professional licensure, health care quality, infection prevention, and disaster preparedness. In these areas and others, MHA works in close collaboration with DPH to assure to assure that development and implementation of regulations will be effective toward our mutual goals of patient care quality and safety.
