Hallmark Health Medical Center Opening in Reading

Hallmark Health System marked the opening of the Hallmark Health Medical Center located at 30 New Crossing Road in Reading with a ribbon cutting ceremony recently. The new, three-story medical center is the largest in the region, offering the most advanced technology to diagnose and treat medical conditions in an outpatient setting. The Hallmark Health Medical Center is part of Hallmark Health, a local nonprofit, community-based healthcare system that includes Lawrence Memorial Hospital of Medford, Melrose-Wakefield Hospital, Lawrence Memorial/Regis College Nursing and Radiography Programs, the CHEM Center, Hallmark Health Cancer Center, Ell Pond Medical Associates and the Hallmark Health Visiting Nurse Association and Hospice.

The Hallmark Health Medical Center will provide residents of the local communities a variety of outpatient services. The first floor of the center features diagnostic services (such as ultrasound, CT scan, digital mammography, bone density scanning, and radiology), a blood draw suite and physical therapy. The second and third floors house medical offices for internal medicine and family practice, cardiology, obstetrics and gynecology, podiatry, pediatrics and gastroenterology.

“The Hallmark Health Medical Center expands the system's services in Reading and surrounding communities, creating an identifiable, central location that gives area residents greater access to Hallmark Health's medical care services,” said Christine Candio, Executive Vice President of Lawrence Memorial Hospital. “Hallmark Health Medical Center in Reading is a name patients can trust for clinical excellence and patient-focused care and satisfaction. From its easy accessibility from major and local roadways, expanded parking and a modern, patient-friendly environment, the new outpatient center is another example of how the system is continually providing high quality care and services in a non-hospital setting.”
