MHA continues to work to improve knowledge and resources that will strengthen the capabilities of Massachusetts hospitals in the key area of workforce development. Members of the MHA Workforce Team continue to be active further developing the healthcare workforce and its capacity in the state through leadership and membership in the following councils and initiatives: 1) Statewide Nursing Initiative Advisory Committee, 2) Tufts Health Plan Foundation Nurse Scholars Program, 3) Statewide Workforce Advisory Council, 3) Massachusetts Team of National Nursing Educational Capacity Summit, 4) Robert Wood Johnson Foundation Partners Investing in Nursing’s Future (PIN) matching grant to develop a New England Regional Collaborative.
