John LoDico, Senior Director, Communications
John LoDico is responsible for the association’s written outreach to its memberships and the public. John strategizes on messaging, writes and/or edits MHA’s regular and ad hoc publications and education materials, and contributes web content. He has written op-eds, speeches, correspondence, and articles for MHA leadership and its membership.
During the COVID-19 pandemic, John helped develop the association’s COVID-19 webpage, created the COVID-19 Update
newsletter, and advanced hospital pandemic messaging through the MHA Monday Report
newsletter, which he writes. John is also responsible for contracting with outside graphic designers when needed. Before joining MHA, John was the senior development writer for Tufts University’s $600 million capital campaign, served as press secretary in political campaigns, and was a reporter for newspapers on Cape Cod and for a trade magazine in Washington, D.C. He has a BA degree in English Literature from George Washington University.
