Despite the availability of robust financial assistance programs\, many patients do not engage with these resources and subsequently avoid seeking necessary care. Undue Medical Debt is a non-profit organization that uses philanthropic funds to purchase and alleviate medical debt for patients with incomes under 400% of the Federal Poverty Level (FPL). \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nProviders who collaborate can: \n\n\n\n\nAddress a social determinant of health that prevents patients from seeking timely care\n\n\n\nReceive payment for dormant bad debt accounts\n\n\n\nGain valuable\, confidential insights into the contents of their bad debt accounts\n\n\n\nGet valuable\, confidential intel about what is in their bad debt.
