As MHA’s Director of Healthcare Policy and Regulatory Affairs, Alex Levie focuses maternal health, behavioral health, and other public health policy as well as regulatory and licensing initiatives. She works closely with members and state partners to communicate regulatory updates and ensure two-way communication, ensuring hospitals’ unique needs are heard and understood.  Prior to joining the association, Alex was a Project Manager at Johns Hopkins Home Care Group and Brigham and Women’s Quality and Safety teams.

Alex holds an MPH with concentrations in Health Policy & Law and Healthcare Management from the Boston University School of Public Health. She attended University of Massachusetts Amherst where she earned a BS in Public Health, and studied and volunteered in Cape Town, South Africa. Alex is passionate about ensuring equitable healthcare access and operationalizing policy initiatives in healthcare delivery settings.
