Amy Bianco is MHA’s vice president of federal affairs and strategic initiatives. Before joining MHA, Amy served as senior director of health policy and strategic initiatives at the Massachusetts Executive Office of Health and Human Services. In that role, she played an integral part in the state’s COVID-19 response and advanced strategic policy priorities related to health system delivery, behavioral health, and long-term services and supports. Her state service also includes roles within MassHealth and the Massachusetts State Senate. Most recently, she served as director of public policy, advocacy, and community engagement at Commonwealth Care Alliance, where she developed and championed policies supporting older adults, individuals with disabilities, and those with significant social determinants of health challenges.

Amy earned her Master of Public Health from the Geisel School of Medicine at Dartmouth and a Bachelor of Arts in Government from Colby College.
