MEMBER MOMENTS: Member Activity from Across the Commonwealth

MHA members are active on social media, keeping their communities up to date on what they’re doing, what they’re celebrating, and who they’re helping. Here are just a few examples from this week. On Thursday, South Shore Health joined several local organizations in somberly observing #BlackBalloonDay, planned by the Weymouth Prevention Alliance. Black Balloon Day is a national event to remember lives lost to overdose and to raise awareness about overdose deaths.

Yesterday, March 6, was National Hospitalist Day and Tufts Medicine used the opportunity to celebrate its hospitalists who provide expert inpatient care, improving outcomes, safety, and efficiency. This link directs readers to a page featuring the hospitalists.

Also yesterday, Shriners Children’s Boston congratulated one of its patients, Moses, who celebrated his last appointment at the hospital by ringing the celebratory bell. “Shriners Children’s Boston would like to wish Moses the best of luck,” it wrote in a post on X.
