Gerry Plante, Chief Information Officer
Gerry Plante joined MHA in 1997 and in his over two decades with MHA he has held multiple roles within the organization’s Information Technology division. Gerry’s responsibilities include establishing the organizational technology vision and strategic initiatives through collaboration with team leadership. He also guides MHA’s effort to ensure the security of the association’s technology environment, including mobile and web technologies, while also maintaining compliance with requirements, laws, standards, and regulations. He develops and deploys technology infrastructure to support the organization’s short- and long-term goals, and oversees the department’s vendor selection and management. Throughout his career, Gerry has mentored numerous IT team members.
He also plays a leading role in the development and distribution of multiple data collection and reporting projects, involving labor, compensation, nursing, and staffing data. In addition, Gerry represents MHA and the healthcare community in many capacities, including statewide cybersecurity and resiliency workgroups.
