The message from our elected officials and leaders was clear: this is anything but business as usual for patients and their providers, and every discussion around healthcare policy must reflect this new reality.

“MHA and our members remain staunch supporters of the Health Policy Commission’s intended mission. But Massachusetts will not be able to tackle bold new reforms unless everyone in healthcare is singularly focused on the real-time, on-the-ground issues impacting care today – vast workforce shortages, unprecedented capacity constraints, and profound financial uncertainty.
